Can a person disappear in plain sight? That’s the question Liu Bolin‘s remarkable work seems to ask. The Beijing-based artist is sometimes called “The Invisible Man” because in nearly all his art, Bolin is front and center — and completely unseen. He aims to draw attention to social and political issues by dissolving into the background.

偽裝是動物的本能，一種用來隱藏自己，或是欺騙其他動物的手段，不論是掠食者或是獵物，偽裝的能力都會影響這些動物的生存機率，人類也是，偽裝讓我們更能融入環境，進一步生存。兩位傑出的當代藝術家 Liu Bolin 和 Desiree Palmen 大量引用偽裝的概念，透過專業的技術將以下照片的人物混合在所處環境中，形成人物合一的景像。

Liu Bolin

劉勃麟 (Liu Bolin) 是中國北京年輕藝術家，他的作品帶有幽默性的政治諷刺意味，在政府關閉了他的工作室後，便獨自作畫，一幅畫的工作時間常達十小時以上，往往路上行人都不曉得有這個人存在直到撞上他才為之驚呼。

Desiree Palmen

Desiree Palmen 是為極具天分的荷蘭藝術家，他耐心的在棉西裝上上染料，製作能和背景融為一體的西裝，瞧這驚為天人的技術創作，是不是和我一樣身感佩服呢?
